This season, the American designer Thom Browne released an exclusive eyewear collection, in partnership with the iconic California label DITA.
Somewhere in between classic preppy and retro-futurism, the co-branding line’s inspiration was drawn from the designers, politicians, architects and professors from the 40s to the 60s. While DITA provides prestigious construction techniques and craftsmanship (handmade frames and high quality materials such as titanium, acetate, natural horn), we are reminded of the designer’s aesthetic with the leather details and signature tri-color stripes.
Overall, with a perfect mix of boldness, rigor and technicity, the Thom Browne DITA pieces significantly manage to capture the essence of the Tom Browne house.
